WegaCore ("we", "us", "our") is delivery management software operated by WegaCore, registered at Avni Feka, no.19, Vushtrri, Kosovo. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect from businesses and individuals who use our platform, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to:

• Business accounts — companies and couriers who register on WegaCore to manage deliveries, orders, and settlements.
• Drivers — individuals assigned deliveries through a business account.
• End customers — people who place orders through a merchant's storefront hosted on our platform, or who receive a delivery arranged through it.

2. Data we collect

Account & business data

• Name, email address, phone number, and password (stored as a salted hash).
• Business name, address, and contact details provided when a business registers.
• Billing and settlement records, including invoice history and the payment method used.

Order & delivery data

• Order details, recipient name, delivery address, and order status, entered by a business or its customers.
• Driver location and delivery timestamps, used to route and track deliveries.

Payment data

Platform subscription invoices are currently settled by bank transfer or cash, recorded manually against an invoice. We do not store card numbers or other card payment data.

Technical data

• IP address, browser type, and device information, collected automatically when you visit our site.
• On our marketing site, we use an IP-based country lookup (via a third-party geolocation service) solely to choose which language to display. The IP address is cached briefly for this purpose and is not linked to an account.

3. How we use this data

• To provide and operate the platform — account access, order management, driver dispatch, tracking, and settlements.
• To process and reconcile payments and issue invoices.
• To communicate service updates, respond to support requests, and send order/delivery notifications.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share data with

• The business you interact with — if you are an end customer placing an order through a merchant's storefront, that merchant (not WegaCore) is the data controller for your order and delivery details, and we process that data on their behalf.
• Service providers who support our infrastructure (hosting, email delivery, error monitoring), bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of our users.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Data retention

We retain account, order, and billing records for as long as an account is active and for a period afterward as required for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
